"Bento Expo" on NHK World Japan added the ending "We Love Bento" clip from the original segment from earlier this year with Chris Kanakis to the intro of a new episode included in a 4 video montage . Here is a video still of it. Everyone in the video says "we love bento" at the same time. Kanakis is the loudest :o)

THROWBACK newspaper article mention/interview with Chris Kanakis in "The Independent Tribune" from Feb. 5th 2009. The article had been lost for YEARS online but has now resurfaced. Here is a cropped version of the article with just the top of the article and the Kanakis blurb with name highlighted.
Basically, a new company was opening up in the region and he was one of over 5000 people that went to apply and have an interview for only 5 hundred open positions. The banking/housing market crash was in full swing then. Despite the fact he was there for over 12 hours during the hiring event by the time he got up for his interview the position had already been filled. However, he was selected (out of thousands in line) for a mini interview/blurb in this newspaper article that was covering this massive hiring event for the Great Wolf Lodge.
