On "Bento Expo" for the 6th time this year

The NEW footage of Chris Kanakis was on NHK World Japan's hit tv show "Bento Expo" again this week. This makes the 6th appearance on the show this year. The one full length feature cooking the bento food and then 5 times in the video montages in the intro to the show.  Here is a screen capture of it from s8ep16

On "Bento Expo" for the 5th time this year: Chris Kanakis

NEW previously unreleased footage airing today on "Bento Expo". Originally, I had not submitted 2 different inedit clips of us saying "We Love Bento" but decided to now, and the show was so COOL to pick one of them and include it on the intro for todays episode during the holidays. They even zoomed in on our footage a little bit.

During these years of the early 2020's we are all in need of little more LOVE...   even if it is only "bento love"... WE LOVE BENTO

Chris Kanakis on Bento Expo for 4th time this year

Chris Kanakis is on the Bento Expo intro yet AGAIN for the 3rd time this year. So that makes 4 times total on the show. The orgional Gyro McMuffin bento cooking segment and then three times in the intro video montages.

Here is a screen capture of the new intro we are in and the title of this episode.

it (as well as all Bento Expo episodes) air the night before once, so the date should read October 5th

 Chris Kanakis made the intro to the new episode of "Bento Expo" on NHK World-Japan... AGAIN.

Chris Kanakis on opening intro to new episode of "Bento Expo"

"Bento Expo" on NHK World Japan added the ending  "We Love Bento" clip from the original segment from earlier this year with Chris Kanakis to the intro of a new episode included in a 4 video montage . Here is a video still of it. Everyone in the video says "we love bento" at the same time. Kanakis is the loudest :o)

THROWBACK newspaper article: Chris Kanakis in "The Independent Tribune" Feb. 5th 2009

THROWBACK newspaper article mention/interview with Chris Kanakis in "The Independent Tribune" from Feb. 5th 2009. The article had been lost for YEARS online but has now resurfaced. Here is a cropped version of the article with just the top of the article and the Kanakis blurb with name highlighted.

Basically, a new company was opening up in the region and he was one of over 5000 people that went to apply and have an interview for only 5 hundred open positions. The banking/housing market crash was in full swing then. Despite the fact he was there for over 12 hours during the hiring event by the time he got up for his interview the position had already been filled. However, he was selected (out of thousands in line) for a mini interview/blurb in this newspaper article that was covering this massive hiring event for the Great Wolf Lodge.
