Chris Kanakis was crew at the Wheel of Fortune’s “Wheelmobile Tour” casting call Hunt Valley, MD event! Where he performed a variety of task ranging from production assistant/crew setting up and breaking down the sound stage (in record breaking heat temps), handing out casting applications and assisting with line flow. This was a very unique event because it was also a promo event as well so he also performed Brand Ambassador tasks such as handing out promo items and running the photo booth too. The photo below are from this mega 3 day gig. The pics in the orange shirt are from stage set up day and as you can see Fox 45 stopped by and Chris Kanakis got to take some fun photos with Fox 45 Baltimore news anchor Shelley Orman! click image to enlarge:

Chris Kanakis on "American Genius" the Wright Brothers vs. Curtiss episode for National Geographic. As a shop worker in 1899 assisting the Wright Brothers in their shop while they fix bikes and experiment in building the 1st airplane with the resources they had there.
Chris Kanakis was in an article by the Tribune Chronicle today May 21st, 2015 about being on the new reality show Cutting Crew. This is the first time he has been in the Tribune (which is a MAJOR NE Ohio newspaper) since the 80's where he appeared several time and on the cover almost full page for a christmas article. You can find info on that in this blog already. Chris Kanakis may have been born in Houston, TX but he was raised (and went to preschool, elementary, middle school, high school and college) in Warren Ohio for nearly 2 and a half decades!! ~click image to enlarge
